Saints and Animals will be a joyful celebration of the earth and all living creatures, both great and small. In the ancient Celtic tradition of storytelling with harp accompaniment, we will hear about Saint Francis and the birds, as well as other saints who were deeply in tune with nature, particularly with animals.

With music direction by Mark Johnson, well-known musician Kasha Breau of the Wild Notes will be playing the harp for us. Two musical compositions by Claudia Chapman, author of The Winter Book, will be included. There will be many lovely surprises in this inclusive program, created to appeal equally to both adults and older children.

Take a fall foliage ride through Litchfield and finish your day with a moment of gratitude for the beauty of creation at our special evening service. All are welcome.
