St. Michael's Church, Litchfield, CT

St. Michael’s has a long, close relationship with the Torrington Community Kitchen. And now its Director/Chef/Fundraiser is going to be recognized for her tireless, outstanding service to the kitchen and all the hungry souls it serves.

Lisa Hageman will be awarded  a Distinguished Leadership Award for “exceptional and unselfish service to our Northwest Corner” for her many contributions to the “Quality of Life” of all those who depend on the Torrington Community Kitchen, including families and children.  Three of these special awards will be presented at a ceremony on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 5:30pm in the Carole & Ray Neag Performing Arts Center at the Warner Theatre in Torrington. 

Tickets for the evening’s celebration, which includes hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, are $50/pp and RSVPs must be made by June 15, 2012 to the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 59, Torrington, CT 06790.

Congratulations to Lisa and all the wonderful volunteers, especially those from St. Michael’s, who make it possible for the  Torrington Community Kitchen to successfully fulfill their mission of feeding the hungry.
