Back-to-School Backpacks Needed

Friendly Hands Food Bank is collecting donations for students heading back to school.
The food pantry, where St. Michael’s delivers food donations each week, will be collecting backpacks and school items up until August 17.
Items being sought for the children are: backpacks, book bags, rulers, erasers, protractors, compasses, calculators, markers, colored pencils, three-ring binders, scissors, glue, pocket folders, spiral notebooks, lunch boxes, pencil sharpeners, five-subject notebooks, Trapper Keepers, book covers, pencil cases, pens and pencils.
Please bring your donations to the parish office during weekday hours, or bring to church on Sunday and put them with the food donations. Call Jo Ann Jaacks 860.567.4456 with any questions.
