It won’t be open until 2014, but a children’s museum that is under development here will provide sneak previews of what’s in store each Thursday in August.
From 5 to 9 p.m. during the remaining days of Main Street Marketplace, children and their parents will be able to come into the former bank building at 61 Main St. to play and interact with different stations.
“We want the kids to be able to come in and experience what we have here,” said Cathy Schmitz, who is co-chair of the conception preview committee for the children’s museum.
