This is a time when we will gather in silence and sit together in the presence of God. We will experience the still small voice of the sound of silence in meditation and contemplation. After twenty minutes or so, we will break the silence and have a time of conversation about the experience.
Weekly Bible Study is held in the Library on Wednesday mornings. All are welcome. This group typically reads and discusses the scripture that will be read at the upcoming Sunday services. Those readings can be found here on The Lectionary Page .
On Saturday evenings at 4:45 P.M., St. Michael’s will begin experimenting with a new weekly “Celtic Style” worship opportunity. The liturgy will last about 30 minutes and will usually be an Evening Prayer rather than Eucharist service. The music will be eclectic in style and different from our Sunday morning offerings. We are hoping members of the parish will help us gather and build a group of singers and instrumentalists of varying levels of experience to help lead the music. Please consider sharing your gifts, showing up and pitching in to help get this new venture up and running.
